Thank you to all those who attended our seminar this past weekend, Prepare for Your Next Move, organized by Business Educational Assistance for Tomorrow, Inc. (BEAT). It was a great turnout, and BEAT is happy to announce that it is organizing its next seminar/workshop for sometime in July! Stay tuned for more information.

Who is BEAT?

BEAT is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to educating indigent individuals and start-up corporations throughout South Florida. Its mission is to assist the adolescence, adult and the elderly, including indigent minorities, to develop their fullest potential by aiding in scholastic training, education, and promotion of classes.

For this seminar, BEAT contacted professionals in the real estate, lending, legal, and credit repair industries. This seminar educated our attendees on what they need to know before buying or selling a home.

Prepare for Your Next Move:

Legal Lotus was happy to be a part of this powerful group! We discussed the legal topics concerning the importance of title and title insurance and bankruptcy.

Broker, Marilyn Escobar of Abella Real Estate covered the real estate topics. She discussed the importance of having a well-versed and competent realtor to represent you through the process and the timeline for inspections. Jeniffer Fuentes Tabares, sales manager of Primary Residential Mortgage, Inc., discussed the prequalification process; basis of income and supplemental income; and down payment assistance programs.
